TLS 1.3 communication to be supported soon

During the week of September 4th we will be updating our cloud environments encryption security policy. Our existing security policy enforces TLS 1.2. The new security policy will allow for communication using both TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3. Any access of TruStage Compliance Solutions (formerly Compliance Systems) applications through a URL containing “compliancesystems.cloud” will be affected.Since this change is only additive and does not remove existing support we do not anticipate any issues, however, we are informing you of this change to both provide visibility and also to allow you to begin taking advantage of the enhanced security and performance of TLS 1.3. In most cases your browsers and applications will automatically use the highest security available, however, your IT department can advise you as to whether or not changes will be required.This update is scheduled to be in our DEV and TEST environments Tuesday, September 5th and PROD environments Thursday, September 7th.Please re

Information Security Update - MOVEit

Compliance Solutions is aware of recent vulnerabilities with MOVEit. MOVEit’s parent company, Progress, released a security advisory stating that they had discovered a SQL injection vulnerability in the MOVEit platform that could lead to escalated privileges and potential unauthorized access to MOVEit customers’ environments.Compliance Solutions does not use MOVEit as part of our solution offering. However, it is used by other areas of TruStage.TruStage Information Security and Information Technology teams rapidly deployed a response team to investigate this issue and identify and implement potential risk mitigation steps including applying the patches provided by Progress Software. They have not found any evidence of exploitation of this vulnerability in our environment to date and continue to monitor the threat closely. Further guidance will be provided as it becomes available.

Changes You Will See In Product Names

It’s official — CUNA Mutual Group is now TruStage™ and as a result, Compliance Systems is now TruStage Compliance Solutions! This also brings a slight change to the naming of some of our products. The two most noticeable changes you may see are:“Simplicity Configuration” is replaced by “Configuration” and references to “the configuration tool.” “Simplicity Runtime” is replaced by “Compliance Safety Net.” Within Compliance Safety Net, we will continue to reference the workflow by the Runtime name you see during your session. “Runtime-Loans” and “Runtime-TFA”” are two examples of this.As we complete our transition, you can expect to see a mixed brand presence in market, including updates like above.
