Changes You Will See In Product Names

It’s official — CUNA Mutual Group is now TruStage™ and as a result, Compliance Systems is now TruStage Compliance Solutions! This also brings a slight change to the naming of some of our products. The two most noticeable changes you may see are:“Simplicity Configuration” is replaced by “Configuration” and references to “the configuration tool.” “Simplicity Runtime” is replaced by “Compliance Safety Net.” Within Compliance Safety Net, we will continue to reference the workflow by the Runtime name you see during your session. “Runtime-Loans” and “Runtime-TFA”” are two examples of this.As we complete our transition, you can expect to see a mixed brand presence in market, including updates like above. Log4J Utility VulnerabilityNews

The Apache Software Foundation has recently announced a vulnerability in its Log4J utility, which is referenced as CVE-2021-44228. Compliance Systems has reviewed both our internal systems as well as those we develop. We have been notified by Amazon Web Services (AWS) that AWS OpenSearch was using a vulnerable version of Log4J. Compliance Systems uses OpenSearch a a central logging service for our application logs and is limited to our private subnets. We have corrected this with the recommended software patch and determined that we do not have any known exposure to this vulnerability. Update on Compliance Systems’ COVID-19 ResponseImportant

Updated Tuesday, March 17, 2020 Compliance Systems continues to monitor developments surrounding the coronavirus (COVID19). This includes monitoring information from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization as well as state and local health agencies to ensure our business decisions keep our customers, employees, partners, and communities healthy and safe. As a result, we are currently taking the following actions. Employees and contractors are encouraged to work from home. Our office buildings will remain open for those individuals who may need to periodically come to the office to complete work processes. For visitors who were planning to come to our office, we have made alternate arrangements to postpone meetings or conduct them virtually. Our goal is to limit non-essential visits to our offices. Resolved: Amazon Web Services and Simplicity Runtime OutageImportant Message

Resolved: At 2:37 p.m. ET, Amazon announced that the issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally.Update: Since 2:30 p.m. ET, the outage with AWS has stabilized and we will continue to monitor this issue.Our Compliance Utility environments are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), which also provides certain other related services necessary for managing these cloud environments. As of 1:40 p.m. ET on Thursday, July 28, AWS has reported issues with services and are affecting access to some of the components in our solution. Affected clients are reporting issues when attempting to access Simplicity Runtime.Compliance Systems understands the critical need for all-time availability of our solution and we are currently working with AWS to resolve this issue.
