Microsoft has ended support for Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) on June 15, 2022. In alignment with this move, Compliance Systems no longer supports the IE11 browser including Microsoft’s compatibility for Internet Explorer within the Edge browser (“Internet Explorer Mode”) for Simplicity Configuration and Simplicity Runtime as of March 31, 2022. We anticipate that this change may result in better performance of our applications as the removal of IE11-specific code will make those applications smaller with faster load times. Simplicity Mobile was developed to exclude support of IE11 and as a result, no changes in performance should be anticipated for that component.The worldwide usage of IE11 has been steadily declining for years and is currently at 0.73% according to StatCounter and 1.70% according to NetMarketShare. The Apache Software Foundation has recently announced a vulnerability in its Log4J utility, which is referenced as CVE-2021-44228. Compliance Systems has reviewed both our internal systems as well as those we develop. We have been notified by Amazon Web Services (AWS) that AWS OpenSearch was using a vulnerable version of Log4J. Compliance Systems uses OpenSearch a a central logging service for our application logs and is limited to our private subnets. We have corrected this with the recommended software patch and determined that we do not have any known exposure to this vulnerability. Microsoft has recently released a patch to address a vulnerability exposed with its Windows print spooler service. This is an issue affecting a wide range of Windows systems.Compliance Systems has taken appropriate steps to disable print spooler services that are not critical. Our parent company, CUNA Mutual Group, is taking the lead on implementing security patches and ensuring distribution across all potentially impacted systems. Both our cloud environment servers and the internal servers used by our staff have been successfully updated with the recommended security patches. It has been recently reported that the software provider Kaseya Ltd. was impacted by a ransomware attack by REvil. Kaseya is a Miami-based company providing commercial network management software.Compliance Systems does not use any Kaseya-native software or services in our partner cloud environments or our internal systems. Compliance Systems does use Unitrends for internal storage backup; this company was acquired by Kaseya several years ago, but is not part of the Kaseya organization impacted by this ransomware attack. Recently, the threat actor Nobelium engaged in a cyberattack targeting Microsoft technology. Compliance Systems has not been impacted by this Nobelium attack. We are not aware of any third-parties interacting with Compliance Systems that have been impacted by the attack. All of our computers and servers are using updated antivirus systems. Compliance Systems’ solution does not store any customer or member data collected by financial institutions during transactions. As you may know, Microsoft is aware of security issues currently impacting Microsoft Exchange email servers. Attacks targeting these vulnerabilities are coming from multiple advanced persistent threat (APT) groups. Compliance Systems does not have any Microsoft Exchange servers on-premise and our active system monitoring has not detected impacts on our organization or the solutions we deliver. As you may know, SolarWinds recently announced that its Orion software was compromised by what it identified as an “outside nation state.” Orion is a tool used to help organizations monitor outages on their computer networks and servers.Compliance Systems does not use Orion or any SolarWinds product in our partner cloud environments. There are 2 methods that this can be done.Method 1 - Forgot PasswordOn the Service Desk homepage, enter your email address and click Next.Click Forgot password? on the following screenYou will receive notification an email was sent to the email provided. In your email, click the Reset my password button. You will be brought back to the Service Desk. Enter a new password and click Confirm.Method 2 - Update Your ProfileAfter signing into the Service Desk with your credentials, click the circle icon in the top right of the screen and select Profile.On the Profile page, click Change password.Complete the fields on the Change password form and click Update.

Updated Tuesday, March 17, 2020 Compliance Systems continues to monitor developments surrounding the coronavirus (COVID19). This includes monitoring information from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization as well as state and local health agencies to ensure our business decisions keep our customers, employees, partners, and communities healthy and safe. As a result, we are currently taking the following actions. Employees and contractors are encouraged to work from home. Our office buildings will remain open for those individuals who may need to periodically come to the office to complete work processes. For visitors who were planning to come to our office, we have made alternate arrangements to postpone meetings or conduct them virtually. Our goal is to limit non-essential visits to our offices.
